「右帖」
出わり不申候
一此所逗留中主人躰之者と浜辺え魚釣に参り候此辺は漁士
無之付魚沢山に而大魚を釣取り申候尤不見馴魚二三尾も
見受申候却而魚は身和らかに而味ひも不宜様存候
一寅八月朔日之頃風雨にてサンホセとサヒセン之間大木は一茂り有之所
出水に而不残流れ仕廻り村中之家も之吹倒且損し候分も有之田地之
作物なとは黍甘蔗等皆吹倒し申候不怪大風雨に而彼地に而
かやう事は覚へ不申由に御座候

一緑豆に似たるチイヤロンとも申豆を作り有之塩豆似たる茶色に而
？之如きもの有之ガリバンソと申豆も作り又小豆に似て少し
粒大き成リホリと申豆をも作り申候風味宜豆に而価も高値に御座候
一猫之如き獣山に有之候由に而彼地之人恐れ申候此獣打取候ヲ見受
申候 二行文 此獣甚猛く口は耳際迠切レ人をも噛殺し候よし
一村中に寺一ケ寺あ有之僧は無之法事等之節は村内老分之者僧之
代りヲ仕候大家之分法用等には本寺之僧を連ひ右本寺は遠方に而

（日本のものとは）全く違います。
一、この所に滞在中、主人のような人と浜辺へ魚釣りに行きました。この辺りは漁師がいないため魚がたくさんおり、大魚を釣り取りました。もっとも見慣れない魚も二三尾見受けました。かえって魚は身が柔らかく味も良くないように思われます。
一、寅年八月朔日の頃、風雨でサンホセとサンディエゴの間の大木が一面に茂っている所が出水で残らず流れてしまい、村中の家も吹き倒されたり損傷したりした分もあり、田畑の作物などは黍や甘蔗等が皆吹き倒されました。珍しくない大風雨で、あの土地ではこのような事は記憶にないということです。

一、緑豆に似たチイヤロンとも言う豆を作っており、塩豆に似た茶色で（判読不明）のようなものがあり、ガリバンソという豆も作り、また小豆に似て少し粒の大きなリホリという豆も作っています。風味の良い豆で価格も高値です。
一、猫のような獣が山にいるということで、あの土地の人は恐れています。この獣を打ち取るのを見受けました。この獣は甚だ猛く、口は耳際まで裂け、人をも噛み殺すということです。
