一サトランは同様之時候に御座候得共一サトランは家立詰有可之故
サンホセゟ暑気絶ク覚申候
一此所に罷在候節九月頃華火揚ケ候を見受申候人物之形又は花の
如き類之組物に而甚見事に御座候
一此所に四屋六軒有之却而諸方ゟ参り候船荷物は皆此四屋へ荷揚
致し夫ゟ諸商人売渡候趣に而右四屋はいつれ之四屋共相分り不申候得共

一、サトランは同様の時候ですが、一方サトランは家が建て詰まっているためか、サンホセより暑気が全く感じられません。
一、この所に滞在していた時、九月頃に花火が上がるのを見ました。人物の形又は花のような類の組物で、たいへん見事でした。
一、この所に四屋（問屋）が六軒あり、かえって諸方から来る船の荷物は皆この四屋へ荷揚げして、それから諸商人に売り渡す仕組みになっています。右の四屋はいずれの四屋も詳細は分かりませんが、外国からの出店とのことです。湊口にイギリス船一、二艘は常に係留されており、その他にスペイン、フランス、ポルトガル、ロシア等の商船が時折入津します。
