弥市という者をお引き渡しいただきたい旨、引き取り所の者を差し出し、昨日昼過ぎにこちらへ到着いたしましたので、今朝この件についてご報告申し上げます。

左記の通り唐船から送り届けられた、紀伊殿領分紀州牟婁郡周参丹ケ浦の弥市という者をお引き渡しいただくため、引き取りの者を差し出すようにとの件について、江戸表で塚越藤助から御城に申し置いた者まで申し聞かせましたので、引き取りの者を差し出し申し上げます。この件をお伝えするよう役人共が申しております。
右の奉書二通に認められております。

Written statement from the Onkachi Metsuke to the Magistrate's Office:
As written below, sent from a Chinese ship - regarding the matter of handing over the person called Yaichi from Shusandanga-ura in Muro District, Kii Province, territory of Lord Kii, we should send someone to receive him. This matter was conveyed from Tsukakoshi Tosuke at Edo to those stationed at the castle, so we are sending someone to receive him. The officials request that this matter be reported.
