ば土用 八（ハツ）-専（セン）【注】寒（カン）-暑（シヨ）衣（イ）-食（シヨク）などに
罪（ツミ）を譲（ユヅ）り別（ベツ）の病（ビヤウ）-魔（マ）虚（キヨ）に乗（ジヤウ）して
入￣レ りなどゝ我は恙（ツヽガ）なく辞（ジ）-退（タイ）して罪（ツミ）を
免（マヌカレ）薬をてらひて世-間をわたる
【注 壬子(みずのえね)の日から癸亥(みずのとい)の日までの十二日間のうち丑辰馬戌の四日を間日(まび)として除いた残りの八日をいう。一年に六回あり、この期間は雨が多いといわれる。また嫁取り、造作、売買などを忌む。】

世に知られるのは幸いである。
○咳があり、つかえがあり、腹下りや熱の上がり下がりがある病症を治療するのに、薬方に固執して補薬を用いることができなければ、元気を補うことは難しい。腹下りを治そうとすれば、つかえが盛んになり、つかえを治そうとすれば腹下りが起こる。医師の治療方針はここで行き詰まる時に、時医は参蘇飲などの処方
【左丁】
を少量ずつ用いれば、時折食事も進み、病状が静かになるので、まことに良いと安心して神医であると信じる。このようにぶらぶらと日数を送り、病気が重くなれば、土用の八専や寒暑、衣食などに罪を転嫁し、別の病魔が虚に乗じて入ったなどと言って、自分は無事に辞退して罪を免れ、薬を見せびらかして世間を渡っていく。
