賊（ゾク）にしてとるに足（タ）らず。今-世-間に学（ガク）
問（モン）はなけれ共多く病を見られし
ゆへに工-者なりと真（シン）-実（ジツ）から信ず
るなり。間（マヽ）-薬にしるしあり書を
よまずしてもよく病を治する事あり

はよく網（アミ）をすくなり。よく病を治
するものはよく聖人（セイジン）の書をよむ

なり今の時医（ジイ）は網（アミ）をもたずして
魚を駆（カル）ものにして偶（グウ）中をまつ

【右丁】
賊（悪徳）であって取るに足りない。現在世間では学問はないけれども、多くの病気を診てきたゆえに名医であると真実から信じているのである。時には薬に効果があり、書物を読まずしても病気をよく治すことがあるだろうか。私が言うには、魚を上手に取る者は網の使い方が上手である。病気をよく治す者は聖人の書物をよく読むものである。

現在の医師は網を持たずして魚を追い回す者のようで、偶然当たることを待つばかりである。
○伝承に言う「医三世でなければその薬を服用してはならない」とある。これは三代続いた医師の薬でなければ服用しないという意味ではない。詳しい上にもさらに功績のあるものを尊ぶということである。しかしながら
