病-重（オモ）く医-者はいづれがよろし
からんとまち〳〵なるを。決（ケツ）-断（ダン）せんが
ためにみくじをとりうらなひして。
みだれたる心を。一つにさだめるは
もつともな事也。いにしへの聖人
も用ひたもふぞ。常にうらなふは
まとひのもとひなり
祈祷
【左丁】
祈祷（キトウ）は其人 信仰（シンカウ）すれば瘧（オコリ）も落￣チ
狂（モノクル）ひもなをる也。病人又は親（シン）-属（ゾク）の
好むならばするがよし。孔子も子（シ）-
路（ロ）に丘（キウ）が祈（イノ）る事久しとのたまふ也
○祈祷に加（カ）-持（ヂ）をするとて。印（イン）を結（ムス）
び神（シン）-符（フ）を張（ハリ）などするは祈（キ）-祷（トウ）-者（ジヤ）
の事ならん。符（フ）-中へ薬を入￣ㇾ呑（ノマ）しめ
てあるひは吐（ト）すべし。あるひは腹（ハラ）い

【右丁】
病気が重く、医者はどちらがよいか
迷っている時に、決断するために
みくじを引いて占いをして、
乱れた心を一つに定めるのは
もっともなことである。昔の聖人
も用いられたのである。常に占うのは
迷いの元である。
○祈祷
【左丁】
祈祷はその人が信仰すれば、マラリアも治り、
狂気も治るのである。病人又は親族が
好むならばするのがよい。孔子も子路に
「丘（孔子）が祈ることは久しい」と言われた。
○祈祷に加持をするといって、印を結び
神符を貼るなどするのは祈祷師の
ことであろう。符の中へ薬を入れて飲ませて
それで吐かせるべきである。あるいは腹を

When the illness is severe and doctors are uncertain
about which treatment would be best, using divination
by drawing fortune slips to make decisions
and settling one's confused mind on a single course
is quite reasonable. Even ancient sages
employed this method. However, constantly relying on divination
is the source of confusion.
○Prayer and Ritual

Prayer, if the person has faith, can cure malaria
and heal madness as well. If the patient or family members
desire it, it should be done. Confucius also said to Zilu,
"Qiu (Confucius) has been praying for a long time."
○Regarding performing kaji (esoteric rituals) in prayer, forming mudras
and posting divine talismans are matters for ritual practitioners.
Medicine should be placed inside the talisman and given to drink,
which should then cause vomiting. Or the abdomen...
