此辺之島々之人之名を都て「アリヲウ」と唱申候
「サンバメウ」是も魯西亜支配の島にて「ランデレツケ」
同様の風土にて諸事相変儀無之同所より
此所まて船路千里程有之此所にも魯西亜の
出張所有之魯西亜人四十人程も罷在尤此島
には二日程船繋いたし居候而已に付委敷儀は存
不申候
「アミセイツカ」是も魯西亜支配の島にて「ヲンデレ
ツケ」「サンバメウ」同様の風土にてサンバメウゟ千二百
里程有之尤纔の小島にて「ラツコ」は沢山に有之

人数不覚住居いたし罷在先年此辺へ日本人
幸太夫と申者漂着いたし候旨（ムネ）魯西亜人咄申候

カ」の出崎も遥に見へ申候
「ヲホーツカ」此所は小き湊にて大船は無之日本船ならは
凡四五百石積の船五六艘かゝり居家数弐百軒斗も
有之魯西亜ゟの代官詰候役所有之魯西亜人
多く住居いたし家作りは丸木にて建壁は荒板

「サンバメウ」これもロシア支配の島で「ランデレツケ」と同様の風土で、諸事変わったことはない。同所からこの所まで船路千里程ある。この所にもロシアの出張所があり、ロシア人四十人程がいる。もっともこの島には二日程船を繋いでいただけなので、詳しいことは分からない。
「アミセイツカ」これもロシア支配の島で「ヲンデレツケ」「サンバメウ」同様の風土で、サンバメウから千二百里程ある。もっともわずかな小島で「ラッコ」がたくさんいる。

この所にもロシア人の出張所があり、ロシア人の人数は覚えていないが住んでいる。先年この辺りへ日本人で幸太夫という者が漂着したとロシア人が話していた。もっともこの所にも二日程船を繋いでいたので、詳しいことは分からない。またこの島から「ヲホーツカ」へ行く海上から「カムシャツカ」の岬も遥かに見える。
「ヲホーツカ」この所は小さい港で大船はなく、日本船ならばおよそ四、五百石積の船が五、六艘係留している。家数は二百軒ほどもあり、ロシアからの代官が詰めている役所がある。ロシア人が多く住んでおり、家造りは丸木で建て、壁は荒板である。

"Sanbameu" is also an island under Russian control, with the same climate as "Randeretsuke," with no particular differences in various matters. From that place to this location is about a thousand ri by sea route. This place also has a Russian outpost with about forty Russians stationed there. However, since we only moored our ship for about two days at this island, I do not know the details.
"Amiseitsuka" is also an island under Russian control, with the same climate as "Onderetsuke" and "Sanbameu," located about twelve hundred ri from Sanbameu. It is merely a small island but has many "sea otters."

This place also has a Russian outpost with Russians living there, though I don't recall their number. Russians told us that in previous years, a Japanese man named Kōtayū had been cast ashore in this area. Since we only moored our ship for about two days at this place as well, I do not know the details. Also, from the sea route from this island to "Ohōtsuka," one can see the cape of "Kamushatsuka" in the distance.
"Ohōtsuka" is a small harbor with no large ships. If they were Japanese vessels, there would be about five or six ships of roughly 400-500 koku capacity moored there. There are about two hundred houses, with a government office where officials from Russia are stationed. Many Russians live there, and the houses are built with round logs, with walls made of rough planks.
