病人小屋所々に有之貧窮者又は他国之者は
右病人小屋へ入置療養を加へ賄等迄も悉く
官所ゟ手当有之候医師御座候へ共外料療
治にて重モに水薬或は一味薬を用ひ本道と
申は無御座候
非人乞食体之者共多く御座候得共穢多之様
成者は無御座候

魯西亜船同国之内「カナシタ」之湊を去々亥六月
中旬比出船いたし重モに酉之方を志し走り候処同七
月初比「コーヘイガハニ」と申所へ着船いたし申候此所「カ
ナシタ」ゟは省（本ノマヽ）候湊にて人物等大様魯西亜人之通に
御座候此所に廿七八日滞船いたし月日不覚同所
出船申酉之方を志し走り候処「アンケリヤ」之内地名
失念湊へ廿四五日経候て月日不覚着船此所に廿
日程船繋いたし其内使節も致上陸候「コーヘイガハニ」
よりは宜湊にて人物は魯西亜人同様にて月日不
覚同所出船未申之方を志し走り候処二ヶ月余

病人小屋が所々にあり、貧困者または外国人はその病人小屋に入れられて療養を受け、食事なども全て官所から支給される。医師はいるが、外用薬による治療で、主に水薬や一味薬を用いており、本格的な医術というものはない。

非人や乞食のような者は多くいるが、穢多のような者はいない。

ロシア船は同国内の「カナシタ」の港を去る去る亥年六月中旬頃に出船し、主に西の方を目指して航行したところ、同年七月初め頃「コーヘイガハニ」という所に着船した。この所は「カナシタ」からは遠い港で、人々などは大体ロシア人と同じようである。この所に二十七、八日停泊し、月日は覚えていないが同所を出船して西の方を目指して航行したところ、「アンケリヤ」の内の地名を忘れた港へ二十四、五日経って、月日は覚えていないが着船した。この所に二十日ほど船を繋いで、その間使節も上陸した。「コーヘイガハニ」よりは良い港で、人々はロシア人と同様で、月日は覚えていないが同所を出船して南西の方を目指して航行したところ、二ヶ月余り

Hospitals for the sick exist in various places, and the poor or foreigners are placed in these hospitals to receive treatment, with meals and everything provided by the government offices. There are physicians, but they use external treatments, mainly water medicines or single-ingredient medicines, and there is no proper medical practice.

There are many people like outcasts and beggars, but there are no people like eta (untouchables).

The Russian ship departed from the port of "Kanashita" within the same country around mid-June of the year of the boar, sailing mainly westward, and arrived at a place called "Kōheigahani" around early July of the same year. This place is a distant port from "Kanashita," and the people are generally similar to Russians. They stayed at this place for twenty-seven or twenty-eight days, and though I don't remember the exact date, they departed from there sailing westward and arrived at a port within "Ankeriya" (place name forgotten) after twenty-four or twenty-five days, though I don't remember the exact date. They moored the ship at this place for about twenty days, during which time envoys also went ashore. This was a better port than "Kōheigahani," and the people were similar to Russians. Though I don't remember the exact date, they departed from there sailing toward the southwest for more than two months...
