ゼンシュテルンが申し出た趣旨は次の通り

（享和3年6月24日）同所出帆いたし、「デンマーク」
の内「コペンハーゲン」「カナリア」島並びに南「アメリカ」
州の内「ブラジル」国それより南海を巡り 西暦1（804年）

Russian Ship Intelligence Report
Today a Russian ship dropped anchor at our local Kaminoshima. The envoy official Rezanov and ship captain Krusenstern, sent by their national sovereign, made the following statement:
Item 1: One Russian ship, departing on August 11th, 1803 (June 24th, Kyowa 3rd year) from the same location, via "Denmark," specifically "Copenhagen," "Canary" Islands, and "Brazil" within South "America," then sailing around the southern seas, in the year 1[804]
