一藩内一般明治ノ年号ヲ奉シ年中ノ儀礼等総テ御布告ノ
通遵行可致事
一刑法定律ノ通施行可致因テ右取調ノ為メ担当ノ者両三
名上京可致事
一学事修業時情通知ノ為メ人撰ノ上少壮ノ者十名程上京

一、藩内一般に明治の年号を奉じ、年中の儀礼等すべて御布告の通り遵守すること
一、刑法定律の通り施行すること。よってこの件を調査するため担当者二、三名が上京すること
一、学事修業の時情を通知するため人選の上、少壮の者十名程度が上京すること
右の条件の通り心得るべし、この旨を伝達する。

To Ryukyu Domain
1. Throughout the domain, the Meiji era name shall be adopted, and all annual ceremonies and rituals shall be conducted in accordance with official proclamations.
1. Criminal law statutes shall be implemented as prescribed. Therefore, two or three persons in charge shall travel to Tokyo to investigate this matter.
1. To report on the current state of educational affairs, approximately ten young men shall be selected and sent to Tokyo.
You shall understand these conditions accordingly; this message is hereby conveyed.
