忙しくて菊見にも出られない人があるだろうから、見せ菊ということを考案して持ち歩く。値段は畑一間につき、ちょっと見せるのが二百文ずつ、半日借り切りは畑三間につき金三百疋。客のもてなしには至極なりと触れ歩く。

Since there would be people too busy to go out for chrysanthemum viewing, they devised the idea of "display chrysanthemums" to carry around. The prices were: two hundred mon for a brief viewing per tan of field, and for a half-day rental, three hundred hiki of gold per three tan of field. They went around announcing that this was excellent for entertaining guests.
