一 当年書上仕候外壱人茂無御座候村中
入念一々取調仕候処少茂相違無御座候
若此上ニ茂不吟味成義有之後日及御聞
被成候ハヽ其元ゟ早速御注進可被成候其
段御調上何様之御咎筋被 仰付候共
少茂御恨無御座候為後日連印証文

差し上げ申す一札の件
一、今年書き上げいたしました以外に一人もございません。村中入念に一々取り調べいたしましたところ、少しも相違ございません。もしこの上にも不注意な事があり、後日お聞きになられましたならば、そちらからすぐにご注進くださいませ。その件についてお調べの上、どのようなお咎めを仰せ付けられましても、少しもお恨み申し上げません。後日のため連印の証文といたします。

Regarding the Certificate We Respectfully Submit
Item: Besides those we have recorded this year, there is not one other person. We have carefully investigated each person throughout the village, and there are no discrepancies whatsoever. If there should be any oversight on our part and you should hear of it later, please immediately report it from your end. Regarding that matter, after your investigation, whatever punishment may be decreed, we harbor no resentment whatsoever. This serves as a jointly signed certificate for future reference.
