In the same year, the King of Sannan, Wang Yingzu, tributed regional products to Ming, announced the death of Shō-Satto, and requested to inherit the title. The Ming Emperor granted this request. Yingzu also sent envoys to Ming, and later had his retainer Li Jie and others enter the Imperial Academy to study abroad. Korea, Java, Siam and other countries came to establish friendly relations. A public hall was built in Naha and called Oyamise. They also constructed a public warehouse to store trade goods, naming it Omonogusuku. <<Interpolation: The exact date is unknown>> Bunei was excessively dissolute and the national administration fell into ruin. Sashiki Anji Shō Hashi raised troops and came to attack. Bunei's followers rebelled and his power weakened, so he finally surrendered the castle. Hashi honored his father Shishō by having him ascend to the throne. This was in Ōei 12, kinoto-tori (1405). Bunei ultimately fled and his final whereabouts are unknown. From Satto to Bunei, two generations lasting approximately fifty-six years, the Satto dynasty came to an end. King Shō Shishō King Shō Shishō's name was Kimishimamono; his father was Samekawa Ōnushi and his mother was the daughter of Ōgusuku Anji. Shishō's character was pure, sincere, respectful, and frugal. At this time, Ryukyu was divided like a three-legged cauldron, with each part glaring at the others and attacking each other. Shishō's son Hashi was intelligent, heroic, and possessed talent for governance. Shishō recognized this and made him Sashū Anji in his stead, retiring to spend his old age in seclusion. When Hashi raised troops and destroyed Chūzan, he honored his father Shishō as ruler and served as his assistant. The subjects were pleased and obedient, and Chūzan was pacified for the first time. In Ōei 14, hinoto-i (1407), he sent envoys to Ming regarding Bunei's
