度重なる音信により、貴藩の承襲の事を承り知らされ、特に使臣豊見城王子を差し遣わし、方物を献じて謝意を進めました。誠意が遠くに表れ、褒美がますます加わることは、幸甚の至りであります。

賜物は別録の通りで、使者に附して還します。その他は全て薩摩中将に報告があることでしょう。誠に恐れ多く不備であります。

In reply to His Excellency the King of Chūzan

Through repeated correspondence, we have been informed of your domain's succession. We specially dispatched the envoy Prince Toyomiグスク, who presented tribute goods to express our gratitude. Your sincere intentions are evident from afar, and the increasing honors bestowed upon us are the height of our good fortune.

The bestowed gifts are as listed in the separate record and are being returned with the envoy. All other matters will be reported to the Satsuma Lieutenant General. We are truly in awe and inadequately prepared.
