現代語訳

器皿

室中では皆地に席を敷いて座る。椅子や机の用はない。飲食の諸具は、皆低く小さく作られて使用に便利である。その中土（中国本土）と製法を異にするものを、左のように図示する。

槃
すべて飲食に碗を置く具は、古の俎豆のようである。槃器は或いは方形、或いは円形で、皆脚が付いている。高さは五、六寸ほど。食事の時は数具を前に並べる。

煙架
煙架一奩の中に、火炉一つ、唾壺一つ、煙盆一つ。室中に数具を置き、人前に各々一具を置く。王宮の製は非常に精巧で整っている。

Vessels and Utensils

In rooms, people all spread mats on the floor and sit. There is no use of chairs or tables. All drinking and eating utensils are made low and small for convenience of use. Those that differ in manufacture from the Middle Kingdom (mainland China) are illustrated as follows on the left.

Trays (Pan)
All vessels for placing bowls for eating and drinking are like the ancient ritual stands (zu-dou). The tray vessels are either square or round, all with legs attached. The height is about five to six sun. When eating, several sets are arranged in front.

Smoking Stand (Enka)
In one smoking stand set, there is one fire brazier, one spittoon, and one tobacco tray. Several sets are placed in the room, with one set placed in front of each person. Those made for the royal palace are extremely refined and well-crafted.
