あるいは腎虚や下疳、梅毒などを患う者は、体裁が悪いのを恥じて、医者がこれを尋ねても、他のことを言ってごまかして、ありのままに言わない。その症状を言い当てられると嫌がってその薬を飲まず、あるいは厳しく禁止すべき物を言われれば、面倒だと言ってその医者を頼まない者がある。これらの類はみな病家の心得違いというものである。それゆえ病気によって、早く治る病気もある
