第九 薬人を殺さず医者人を殺す事
古人曰。虚（きよ）々実（しつ〳〵）々といふ事有り。是は虚病
に攻（こう）撃の薬を用ひて。虚に虚をかさね
実病に補／益（ゑき）の剤（さい）を用ひて。実に実を
重るといふなり。虚とは内の缺（かけ）たる病。実とは
余り有る病と心得へし。扨上の如く療治

薬の有毒無毒（ゆうどくむどく）みな医者の用るをまつ
ものなれば。能く用れば人を活（いか）し。悪く用
れば人を殺す。故に砒霜班猫（ひさうはんみやう）も能く用れ
ば人を活し。人参／黄茋（わうぎ）も。悪く用れば人を
殺す也。是皆用ひる医者の巧拙（じやうずへた）によるべし
其毒有る薬は。たとへば釼のごとく。症（しやう）に合はぬ

people. This all depends on the skill or clumsiness of the doctor who uses them.
