御側（おそば）医者にて。常に高貴の人をりやうぢ

の趣。病家にしゐて預（あづ）からめ。事なれども。心
得の為しるす也。扨此書は世の中の。ものに
心得たる人に。おしへむとにはあらず。只何も
しらぬ。病家の心得ちがひをさとす物なり。
末に養生の歌。百廿一首を記（しる）す是は養生
論等にくわしく有る事を。歌につゞり俗に

張子和は辺鄙な山里の医者で、常に身分の低い
者を療治していた故、多く瀉剤（下剤）を用いて
効験を得たのである。このように都の人と田舎の人は
生まれつきが違うので、治療も雲泥の差が
あることである。この心得なしに、都の人も田舎の人

も同じように心得ては、大いに間違うことである。これらの
趣旨は、病家には強いて関わらせる
事柄ではないが、心得のために記すのである。さてこの書は世の中の
物事を心得た人に教えようとするのではない。ただ何も
知らない病家の心得違いを諭すものである。
末尾に養生の歌百二十一首を記す。これは養生
論等に詳しく書かれていることを歌に綴り、俗に

Therefore, he often used tonifying medicines and achieved effectiveness.
Zhang Zihe was a doctor in remote mountain villages, constantly treating people of low
status, so he often used purgative medicines (laxatives) and
obtained good results. In this way, people of the capital and people of the countryside have
different natural constitutions, so there is a vast difference
in treatment as well. Without this understanding, treating both capital people and country people

in the same way would be greatly mistaken. Although these
principles are not necessarily matters that patients should be forced to
concern themselves with, I record them for the sake of understanding. Now, this book is not intended to teach people in the world who
already understand such matters. It is merely to enlighten the mistaken understanding of patients who know
nothing at all.
At the end, I record 121 songs about health preservation. These take matters described in detail in treatises on health preservation
and compose them into songs, making them accessible to common people
