I visited the shrine of the deity to repent for my daily transgressions and kept vigil through the night. Around the hour of the ox at its fullest, neither in dream nor in waking, a person of strange appearance came and declared: "Your repentance for past wrongs and prayers to me are admirable. However, sins once committed do not disappear a second time. If you wish to destroy those sins, you must do things that benefit all people.
