右出座御下段御敷居之内にて
御目見御奏者番御披露御中段迄被
召出之今度琉球之使者遠路召連太儀に

上意有之年寄共御取合申上之御次え退座
于時対馬守召之大宜見 御目見
御前え可召出旨被 仰出之尾於御次
御諚之趣豊後守え対馬守達之
但大宜見御礼之内豊後守御襖之外に扣罷在候
一中山王ゟ所献之品々
出御以前ゟ南之板縁東西より 御目通り
順々並置
大宜見自分之進物も同事に並置之
一献上之御太刀目録御奏者番持出之御中段
下ゟ弐畳目に置之中山王と披露之大宜見
出席御下段下ゟ四畳目ゟ奉九拝而退去

現代語訳
右の通り出座し、御下段の御敷居の内にて御目見え。御奏者番が御披露し、御中段まで召し出される。「今度琉球の使者を遠路召し連れ、大儀である」と思し召される段について上意があり、年寄共が御取合を申し上げ、御次へ退座する。
その時、対馬守を召し、大宜見の御目見えについて「御前へ召し出すべき」旨を仰せ出される。御次において御諚の趣を豊後守へ対馬守が伝達する。
ただし、大宜見の御礼の間、豊後守は御襖の外に控え罷り在る。
一、中山王より所献の品々
出御以前より南の板縁東西より御目通り順々に並べ置く
大宜見自分の進物も同様に並べ置く
一、献上の御太刀目録を御奏者番が持ち出し、御中段下より二畳目に置く。中山王として披露し、大宜見が出席、御下段下より四畳目より九拝を奉じて退去する。御太刀目録を御奏者番が引く。
英語訳
As described above, [Ōgimi] takes his seat and has an audience within the threshold of the lower tier. The gōsōja-ban makes the formal announcement, and he is summoned to the middle tier. The shōgun expresses his appreciation, saying "It is commendable that the Ryukyu envoy has been brought from such a distant land." The rōjū respond appropriately and withdraw to the waiting room.
At that time, Tsushima-no-kami is summoned, and regarding Ōgimi's audience, it is proclaimed that "he shall be summoned before [the shōgun]." In the waiting room, Tsushima-no-kami conveys the content of this proclamation to Bungo-no-kami.
However, during Ōgimi's formal greeting ceremony, Bungo-no-kami remains in attendance outside the sliding doors.
1. Various items presented by the King of Chūzan
From before the shōgun's entrance, these are arranged in order from east to west along the southern wooden veranda for the shōgun's viewing
Ōgimi's personal tribute gifts are also arranged in the same manner
1. The catalog of the献上の御太刀 (ceremonial sword to be presented) is brought out by the gōsōja-ban and placed on the second tatami mat from below the middle tier. It is announced as being from the King of Chūzan. Ōgimi appears and from the fourth tatami mat below the lower tier, performs nine prostrations and withdraws. The gōsōja-ban then removes the sword catalog.
