一、対馬守を召し、大宜見が遠境より相越し大儀であると思し召される旨を仰せ出される。御次において、御諚の趣を対馬守が豊後守へ伝える。すぐに大宜見へ豊後守が伝達し、御請けを申し上げ、その趣を豊後守が対馬守へ述べる。
一、大宜見が重ねて出席し、自分の御礼を板縁において三拝を奉じる。御奏者番が披露し退座。大目付二人が案内して殿上の間へ同列下段に着座させる。豊後守も殿上の間へ退去する。

1. Tsushima-no-kami is summoned, and it is proclaimed that the shōgun appreciates Ōgimi's arduous journey from distant lands. In the waiting room, Tsushima-no-kami conveys the content of this proclamation to Bungo-no-kami. Immediately, Bungo-no-kami transmits this to Ōgimi, who respectfully acknowledges it, and Bungo-no-kami reports this acknowledgment back to Tsushima-no-kami.
1. Ōgimi appears again and performs his personal formal greeting with three prostrations on the wooden veranda. The gōsōja-ban makes the announcement and withdraws. Two ōmetsuke escort him to the palace hall where he is seated in the lower tier with those of equal rank. Bungo-no-kami also withdraws to the palace hall.
