As honored people who from childhood to adulthood received stipends and were nurtured, having teachers established to educate children, they deeply received the nation's grace. They should naturally redouble their efforts, not disappointing the kindness of education and nurturing above, thus having no shame. Cai Wenpu was one of the students who entered the Imperial Academy to study in the twenty-fifth year of Kangxi, therefore his words have such order and sequence.
Official Students Enter the National Academy to Study

In the twenty-fifth year, King Shang Zhen sent official students Liang Chengji, Cai Wenpu, and Ruan Weixin to study at the National Academy. In the ninth month of the twenty-seventh year they entered the Academy, and His Majesty specially established one instructor position. Zheng from Fujian served as instructor for one year, and Xu Zhen, a tribute student from Ningbo, served as instructor for three years.
