やいば有中の足を別足と云
是よりして初献にまいる也。
同五 種（しゆ）の削（けつり）物はほう来（らい）の
亀なるべし。万年の御祝なり
然るに盛様（もりやう）かくのごとし
黒 青 亀のかうにもるべし
白 鳥もかめのかうに
もるべきなり
黄 赤 ざうにの左に五種

長（たけ）三尺ひろさ一尺八寸。然るに
広（ひろ）さたけ合て四尺八寸は阿（あ）
弥陀の四十八 願（くはん）をもつて也。

経なり。足の高さ三寸三ぶ
足のひろさ三寸二歩 厚（あつさ）さ
一寸五部合八寸は八 葉（よう）のれん

九尺六寸有。九尺九品の浄土
六寸六じ是也。あみだは命斗
もなし。多加明神（たかみやうじん）は命を

久（きう）円命（ゑんめい）の御きたうなり。是
皆庖丁くはんでう俎の事

くたり給ひて守護（しゆご）し給ふ也。

▲Regarding the cutting board
Length three shaku, width one shaku eight sun. However,
the combined width and length of four shaku eight sun represents
Amida's forty-eight vows.
The thickness of the cutting board at three sun represents the three-part
sutras. The height of the legs is three sun three bu,
the width of the legs three sun two bu, thickness
one sun five bu, totaling eight sun represents the eight-petaled lotus
flower. The total circumference of the cutting board

is nine shaku six sun. Nine shaku represents the nine grades of the Pure Land,
six sun represents the six characters. Amida has no lifespan
limit. Takamyōjin is a deity who
protects life for a long time. The original ground is
Amida Buddha. This interpretation
is not unusual. Thus it is a prayer for long
life and perfect longevity. All of this
concerns the etiquette of kitchen knives and cutting boards.
Ordinary cutting boards are a separate
matter.
▲Regarding ordinary cutting boards
Be calm and undisturbed. Being reliable is
called banquet composure. Morning worship means respecting
the lord and revering the gods with uprightness -
this is morning worship. The four virtues are: the lord's benevolent virtue, the
virtue of sun and moon, the benevolent virtue of parents -
these are they. Sometimes stars descend from heaven
to this seat and provide divine protection.
