富士（フシ）山ノ麓（フモト）大宮（ヲホミヤ）ノ谷（タニ）ニ大石アリ石面（セキメン）ニ仏像（ブツソウ）

仏像石 十四
富士山の麓、大宮の谷に大きな石がある。石の表面に仏像が浮き彫りになっている。その長さは二寸五分。まったく人工のものではなく、天然のものである。また能登国鳳至郡菩薩谷に菩薩石というものがある。長さ一寸、色は黄色で人の形のようであるが、顔の造作が整っているわけではない。ただ法師の姿があるだけである。本草書にいう菩薩石というものは同名だが別の種類である。また肥後国阿蘇山の川口村鷲峰寺にこの物がある。長さ一尺。

Buddha Image Stone - Entry 14
At the base of Mount Fuji, in the valley of Ōmiya, there is a large stone. On the stone's surface, a Buddha image appears in relief. Its length is two sun and five bu. It is entirely not man-made but a natural creation. Also, in Hōshi District of Noto Province, in Bosatsu Valley, there is something called a Bodhisattva Stone. It is one sun in length, yellow in color, and resembles a human form, though the facial features are not clearly defined. It merely has the shape of a Buddhist monk. The Bodhisattva Stone mentioned in botanical texts is of the same name but a different type. Also, in Higo Province, at Juhōji Temple in Kawaguchi Village of Mount Aso, this object exists. Its length is one shaku.
