の農家に一つの石があり、常に藁を打つ台として使っていた。自然に擦れて石の表面に光沢が生じ、内部に泥鰌のような物が動いているのを見たが、主人は知らずに、なお藁を打ち続けて、ついにその石を割ってしまった。ところが漏れ出た様子を怪異なこととして、その家に祠を立てて、かの破れた石を祀るという。これは同国の本多某が語ったことである。また、ある大名家の秘蔵品に、鶏卵の形に似てやや大きな玉があり、内部に水を蓄えて魚が住んでいる。その魚は首尾が右の玉に触れて動くことができない。これは琉球国より献上されたということである。加賀国普賢院の物語である。すべてこの

At a farming household, there was a stone that was constantly used as a platform for beating straw. Through natural wear, the stone's surface developed a lustrous shine, and they could see something like a loach moving inside, but the master was unaware and continued beating straw until he finally broke the stone. However, considering what leaked out to be something supernatural, they erected a shrine at that house and enshrined the broken stone. This was told by a certain Honda from the same province.
