現代語訳
三頭、同じく皮七十枚を献上したという。今考えるに、粛慎国は蝦夷である。これをもって天工（自然の産物）ではないことを知るべきである。《割書：私は》鏃石一千種を蔵している。その色形・大小・産所等は一様ではない。あるものは一尺余り、あるものは三～五分ある。大坂の本教寺に鏃石三十六種を蔵している。奇品であり、おのおの異体にして尋常のものではない。おおよそ海内に奇石を好む人は少なくないといえども、このようなものは得やすいものではない。
右の本教寺珍蔵三十六種の内、また《割書：私》が蔵する所の千種の内、異形のものをここに図す。余はこれを略す。

three [bears], along with seventy hides were presented as tribute." Upon present consideration, the Sushen country is Ezo. From this, one should understand that these are not products of heavenly craft (natural formation). {{Marginal note: I}} have collected one thousand varieties of arrowhead stones. Their colors, shapes, sizes, and places of origin are not uniform. Some are over one shaku in length, while others are three to five bu. At Honkyōji temple in Osaka, thirty-six varieties of arrowhead stones are kept in collection. They are rare items, each having a different form and not being ordinary objects. Generally speaking, throughout the realm there are not few people who appreciate rare stones, but such items are not easily obtained.
Among the thirty-six varieties treasured at the aforementioned Honkyōji temple, and also among the thousand varieties that {{marginal note: I}} have collected, I illustrate here those of unusual forms. The rest I omit.
