現代語訳
があり、同じ所より掘り得たといって、形は寸分違わずして、黒色なるものと白色なるものの二つを掘り得たといって、白い方は主人が手元に留め置き、黒い方を私に投じた。今、珍蔵の一つとする。これが何たるものということを知らず、その形は図のごとく、元来造り直したものと見える。この類のもの、なお少なからず、悉く続編に出すべし。

in appearance. From the same location, he excavated two pieces that were identical in form down to the smallest detail - one black and one white. The owner kept the white one for himself and gave me the black one. I now treasure it as one of my prized possessions. I do not know what this object truly is, but its form, as shown in the illustration, appears to be something that was originally crafted and later altered. There are many more objects of this type, all of which I shall present in a subsequent volume.
Sword Stone - Twenty-one
This is one of my treasured possessions, though what it truly is remains unclear. I believe it must be a relic from the age of the gods. It is nine sun and five bu in length, with a thickness of
