夜話に去んぬる安永五年の夏、当町の裏畑の中にて古き壺を掘り出せり。その中に細少なる曲玉三十余りありと。

上古の神物、神作なり。何たるものとも知る人なし。その形状丸く、或いは飯櫃なり、或いは平たくにして中厚く端は薄し。大きさ指渡し三寸、或いは五寸、或いは八九寸。色薄白く木理ありて木の化せしに似たり。菊花の如くに彫りて中に一つの穴あり。今の茶台、盃台の形にして穴
