一握りあまり、両方が次第に細くなり、先に至って両端ともに同じく円いものがある。甚だ硬くして青瑪瑙とも言うべきである。いかなるものとも知る人なし。数千年の古物ゆえ自然の物と見えるけれども、元来は彫刻のものか。三千坊時代のものではなく、遥かに上代の神宝であろう。中古、由縁があって伽藍の宝物となったのであろう。今、予が珍蔵となる。つらつら按ずるに、日本紀（神武紀）に出る異志都々伊の類か。予、この頃京師に出て、奥州松前江指村々上八十兵衛という
