にもつたへぬ水土もまじはりて欝（うつ）すれは其水土やめり
やめる事久しけれは水土の変（へん）する所には異形（いぎやう）の物共
も生す人常に見る物をば心にもかけすめつらしき事
はあるましき物のやうに思ふはおろかなり常に見る蚯蛙の
生するもとびからすの生るもその生する子細をきはめ
その本（もと）をしれはめつらしき物とてもつねにある物とて
も同し道理なり若くさひらてふ物も陰陽のつるみ水

ぬれば土は性もなき物になりぬされは金も土の為

にも伝わる。水土も交わって鬱滞すればその水土は病む。病むことが久しければ、水土の変化する所には異形の物どもも生じる。人は常に見る物を心にもかけず、珍しい事はあるはずのない物のように思うのは愚かである。常に見る蚯蚓や蛙の生じるのも、蝿や烏の生じるのも、その生じる理由を究め、その本を知れば、珍しい物といっても常にある物といっても同じ道理である。幽霊や妖怪という物も陰陽の交わり、水土の変化である。みな天地が正常でない所より出る病である。男女の交わりは陰陽である。上下に分かては天地である。乾坤の二卦である。乾を父とし坤を母とする。男は澄める気、女は濁れる血である。その二つの物が交われば清濁混じて気が塞がり、女の血が滞まって

Fire finally dies out and becomes earth and ash. Earth emerging from fire is the trace of fire's diseased death. Metal is earth's child. When metal is born, earth becomes something without nature. Therefore metal is also a disease for earth. Water is metal's child. When the child water is born, moisture is taken by the child, and when metal dries up, metal's nature is exhausted. This water emerging from metal is also metal's disease. Wood is water's child. Wood takes water's moisture and branches, leaves, flowers, and fruit flourish.
