中に撰入られ又足軽の大将承り武藤喜兵衛と改め
兄か討死したりし後　其家を継信濃国上田の城に
ありて真田安房守とそ名乗ける《割書：此時三万八千石也》天正
十年武田か家滅て後織田殿に降参して本領を
安堵す同き六月信長又うたれたまひ上杉弾正大弼
景勝又東国に発向すと聞しかは信濃国の国人真田
芦【蘆】田小笠原を始てなかく上杉か被官たるへしと起証文
を書て越後国へそ参たる同き六月十八日景勝信濃
に発向す真田を始て国人等みな上杉か陣にいたつて
見参すかゝる所に北条左京大夫氏直武蔵上野を経て

国に入真田等又北条多勢なるをやたのみけん氏直に
心あはせうらきりして景勝討んとはかりしに景勝
かくと聞よりも海津の城に住したる高坂源五郎か首
切て北条か陣に送りけれは真田等謀はやあらはれぬと
氏直の先陣して川中島にむかつて　上杉と戦んとす
上杉其勢四千余人《割書：四千三百｜余と申也》北条五万余騎にむかつて
《割書：五万五千｜人と申也》戦はんとそ進みたる上杉か少勢あなとりにくし
とやおもひけん北条こゝより引返し甲斐国に打入て

However, as soon as Kagekatsu heard of this, he cut off the head of Kosaka Gengoro, who resided at Kaizu Castle, and sent it to the Hojo camp, so the conspiracy of Sanada and others was quickly exposed. Ujinao advanced as the vanguard toward Kawanakajima to fight the Uesugi.
