§一貴き経文に見えたる御憲法の御罰の事
◦ ds の御憲法を以て御罰を行ひ給ふ其最初といふは天より悪のあんじよを
堕落させ給ふ事也＊じよふの経に見えたるごとく ds 顕し給ふ御罰の初と
いふは諸のあんじよの司るしへる#1が上なり仰ぎて見よ天の内裏にをひて
勝れたる宝の器として清き光を持御写となり奉りしあんじよさへ
一念の慢気に依て雷の落るがごとくいんへるのゝ底に落し給ひあんじよの
上のあんじよは天狗の上の天狗となり如意満足なる住所を離れ不如意
千万なる苦しみの底に沈みたる者也 ds の御近習第一のあんじよたりと
いへども天の御敵となり奉りし也去ば万の御作の物の中に第一の位を
持といへ共忽ちに失ひて今はいづくにありといふ事をば天の諸のあんじよ
のみよく知召し給へば如何計驚き給ふべきといふ事を観ぜよ＊いざいやす
ぽろへたの語に違はず暁出たる明星は何として天より落たるぞと
驚き給ふ者也又ぱらいぞてれあるにて元祖夫婦の上をいふに再び立帰る

よく聞け。今はデウスの御憲法を汝も我も直に見ることは叶わないといえども、現在においてなし給う御主の御所作を見奉るに勝る確かな道があろうか。貴き経文を窺い見るにおいては、世界に顕し給う事を以ってその御憲法を見知るべし。
§一 貴き経文に見えたる御憲法の御罰の事
デウスの御憲法を以って御罰を行い給うその最初というは、天より悪の天使を堕落させ給う事也。ヨブの経に見えたるごとく、デウス顕し給う御罰の初というは諸の天使の司ルシフェルが上なり。仰ぎて見よ、天の内裏において勝れたる宝の器として清き光を持ち御写となり奉りし天使さえ、一念の慢心に依って雷の落つるがごとくインフェルノの底に落とし給い、天使の上の天使は悪魔の上の悪魔となり、如意満足なる住所を離れ不如意千万なる苦しみの底に沈みたる者也。デウスの御近習第一の天使たりといえども天の御敵となり奉りし也。されば万の御作の物の中に第一の位を持つといえども忽ちに失いて、今はいずくにありということをば天の諸の天使のみよく知り召し給えば、如何ばかり驚き給うべきということを観ぜよ。イザヤス預言者の語に違わず、「暁に出たる明星は何として天より落ちたるぞ」と驚き給う者也。また楽園地上にて元祖夫婦の上をいうに、再び立ち帰る...

Listen well. Though neither you nor I can now directly see God's divine law, what surer path is there than observing the works that the Lord performs in the present? When we examine the sacred scriptures, we should come to know that divine law through what He reveals to the world.
§1 On the Punishments of Divine Law as Seen in the Sacred Scriptures
The first instance of God carrying out punishment according to His divine law was casting the evil angels down from heaven. As seen in the Book of Job, the beginning of the punishments that God revealed was upon Lucifer, the chief of all angels. Look up and behold: even the angel who served as a precious vessel in the heavenly palace, bearing pure light as God's image, was cast down to the depths of Hell like a falling thunderbolt due to a moment's pride. The angel above angels became the demon above demons, leaving behind a dwelling of complete satisfaction to sink into the depths of countless dissatisfactions and suffering. Though he was God's foremost attendant angel, he became heaven's enemy. Thus, though he held the highest position among all created things, he lost it in an instant. Consider how greatly the angels of heaven must be astonished, as only they truly know where he is now. This accords with the words of the prophet Isaiah, who marveled: "How has the morning star that rose at dawn fallen from heaven?"
