如何程の事をなすべきとか思ふや汝悪を本とする身となるにをひては彼と

休めとし給う者也。これはかつて世の中の人の試みる道に非ず。その故は世間に嫌う事を好み、好む事を嫌い給えばなり。貴き使徒達は聖霊を受け給いて後、権門の前をも恐れ給わず、キリストに対し奉りて恥辱を受け給う事を悦び給うと使徒行伝第5章に見えたり。神の御大切（御愛）は、かほど禁獄・呵責せられ給う事をさえ甘しとし給えば、何ぞ況や戒めを保つ事を安しとせざらんや。加えて当時多くの善人達が御掟を保ち給う事は申すに及ばず、神の御大切を厚くし、不眠不食を先として難行苦行を勤め給う事を鑑みながら、争いか汝、神の平なる戒めの道と教会の御掟を保ち難しとはするぞ。嗚呼、迷い極りて神の大切と恩寵の御力を弁えざる者かな。
