子といふ娘則道にあはせて岩城の郡をゆつりあたへし
より岩城とこそは名のりてけり其後子孫あいつゝき
左京大夫親隆に至る親隆まことは伊達左京大夫晴宗
か嫡男輝宗か兄なるを左京大夫重隆娘あはせて岩

卒去した。男子三人。嫡子侍従義処（すみ）が家督を継いだ。承応三年十二月二十六日に従四位下右京大夫となり、寛文九年十二月二十三日に侍従に任じられた。二男式部少輔義興は承応三年十二月二十八日に叙爵し、寛文五年九月二十一日に三十一歳で死去した。三男は左近将監義知で、寛文十年十二月二十八日に叙爵し、後に改めて壱岐守に任じられた。

岩城
忠次郎平貞隆は、桓武天皇の御後胤で鎮守府将軍陸奥守貞盛朝臣の孫である陸奥権守安忠の子・岩城次郎大夫則道の十九代の後裔である。はじめ鎮守府将軍藤原秀衡がくあま子という娘を則道に嫁がせて岩城の郡を譲り与えたことから岩城と名乗るようになった。その後子孫が代々続き、左京大夫親隆に至った。親隆は実は伊達左京大夫晴宗の嫡男輝宗の兄であるが、左京大夫重隆の娘と結婚して岩城の家を継いだ。《割書：これより実は藤氏となった》親隆は文禄二年七月十日に死去した。その子左京大夫常隆が父から家督を譲られた。

He died. He had three sons. The eldest son, Jijū Yoshisumi, inherited the family headship. On the 26th day of the 12th month of Jōō 3, he became Jushiinoge Ukyō-no-daibu, and on the 23rd day of the 12th month of Kanbun 9, he was appointed Jijū. The second son, Shikibu-shōyū Yoshioki, was granted court rank on the 28th day of the 12th month of Jōō 3 and died at age 31 on the 21st day of the 9th month of Kanbun 5. The third son was Sakon-shōgen Yoshitomo, who was granted court rank on the 28th day of the 12th month of Kanbun 10 and later was reassigned as Iki-no-kami.

Iwaki
Chūjirō Taira no Sadataka was a descendant of the 19th generation from Iwaki Jirō-dayū Norimichi, son of Mutsu-gon-no-kami Yasutada, who was the grandson of Chinjufu-shōgun Mutsu-no-kami Sadamori Asomi, a descendant of Emperor Kanmu. Initially, Chinjufu-shōgun Fujiwara no Hidehira gave his daughter called Kuama-ko in marriage to Norimichi and granted him Iwaki County, from which the family took the name Iwaki. Thereafter, descendants continued through the generations down to Sakyō-no-daibu Chikataka. Chikataka was actually the elder brother of Terumune, the eldest son of Date Sakyō-no-daibu Harumune, but he married the daughter of Sakyō-no-daibu Shigetaka and inherited the Iwaki house. 《Note: From this point, they actually became members of the Fujiwara clan》 Chikataka died on the 10th day of the 7th month of Bunroku 2. His son Sakyō-no-daibu Tsunetaka inherited the family headship from his father.
