申し上げ候。以上。
一、今日御用日に十蔵殿より呼び出しがあり参上仕り候。先に申し上げ候麻芋（まいも）・麻布（あさぬの）の運上（うんじょう）の儀、減額の願いを申し立て候様、願いのとおり仰せ出され候。三十貫二百三十二文のうち、五貫文を御用捨（ごようしゃ）仰せ付けられ候。この段、右三人の者へ申し渡し候様、申し上げ候なり。よって則ち、近江屋善蔵の助役（すけやく）に右の趣を申し渡し候ところ、ありがたく存じ申し聞かせ候。
一、松田屋六郎右衛門、中沢山（なかざわやま）の松材木の検知（けんち）の儀、御仕入（おしいれ）同様、分一（ぶいち）も無難につき、当時、弁財川原（べんざいかわら）の検知通り本数取り、改め申し候様に申し置き候ところ、その節罷り越し、左のとおり仕るべき旨、仰せ下され候。
■松木屋（まつきや）を呼び寄せ、右の段を申し渡し候。

Respectfully submitted. The above is as stated.
Item: Today being an official business day, I was summoned by Jūzō-dono and duly presented myself. Regarding the petition previously submitted concerning the reduction of the transport levy (unjō) on hemp taro (maiimo) and hemp cloth (asanuno), it has been decreed in accordance with the petition. Of the total of 30 kan 232 mon, a remission (goyōsha) of 5 kan mon has been granted. It was reported that this matter should be communicated to the three persons concerned. Accordingly, the assistant official (sukeyaku) of Ōmiya Zenzō was informed of the foregoing, and [he] expressed his gratitude upon hearing the news.
Item: Regarding the inspection (kenchi) of pine timber from Nakazawa Mountain, [a matter brought by] Matsudaya Rokurōemon — since the timber is equivalent to official procurement stock and the buichi (one-part commission/levy) presents no difficulty — instructions were left that [the relevant parties] should, at this time, re-examine and recount the timber in accordance with the inspection records at Benzai Riverbed. It was then decreed that [the parties] should proceed to the site and handle the matter as indicated below.
