御裏判（おうらはん）相済み候様に成られ下され候。同役（どうやく）幸作儀（こうさくぎ）、春冬銭■役（やく）に付き、拙者壱軒にて差し越し申し候。上にて判■引（はんかがみびき）替え申し候べく候。右の趣（おもむき）御意（おんい）を得（え）べく、かくの如く御座候。以上。

一筆啓上（けいじょう）致し候。追って暖気（だんき）に成られ候折、各様にはご■■、御■成られ■■御座候。然るは、松田屋六郎左衛門（まつだやろくろうざえもん）、遠州（えんしゅう）川下（かわくだし）材木証文差し出し候に付き、銭（せん）奥書（おくがき）を右の者へ相渡し申し候。同役赤羽幸作（あかばこうさく）儀、傳役（でんやく）致し候に付き、拙者一判■差し越し申し候。上にて判鑑（はんかがみ）引替え申し候べく候。右の趣相（あい）心得、御意（おんい）行（こう）御座候。■惶（きょうこう）謹んで以上。

[Please arrange for the counter-seal (ura-han) to be duly completed.] As for my colleague Kōsaku, since he is engaged in the spring/winter monetary ■ duty, I am submitting [this document] from my household alone. The seal register (han-kagami) exchange will be handled upon [the document's] arrival [at your office]. I write this so that you may be informed of the above, and so it stands. Respectfully submitted.

Item: The accompanying letter (soejō) to Kaijima [office/post], as follows.

I humbly write to you. Now that the weather has grown warmer, I trust each of you gentlemen is ■■ [in good health] and ■ [carrying out your duties well]. In connection with the matter at hand: Matsudaya Rokurōzaemon has submitted timber contract documents for the downstream river transport to Enshū (Tōtōmi Province), and [I] have affixed the endorsement (okugaki) and duly handed [the documents] over to the said person. As my colleague Akaba Kōsaku is currently occupied with transmission duties (den'yaku), I am forwarding [this] with my seal alone. The seal register (han-kagami) exchange will be arranged upon [receipt]. I write so that you may be informed of the above; I am in awe and respectfully submit this. Respectfully concluded.
