二日
一、今日、遠州下筏（えんしゅうくだしいかだ）小手形（こてがた）四通、持参越し候に付き、利印形（りいんぎょう）■■。
一、上嶋村（かみしまむら）揚酒札（あげざけふだ）、三々（さんさん）願い相済み候に付き、札を持参致し候様、久兵衛下手紙（したてがみ）、貞六殿へ相頼み遣わし候。
四日
一、今日、松田屋六郎右衛門より、去る寅年中（とらどしじゅう）、筏川下証文（いかだかわくだしょうもん）壱通、並びに卯（う）三月、遠州下川標（えんしゅうくだかわしるべ）五千本、銀取（ぎんとり）証文壱通、拝借人（はいしゃくにん）申し候。
一、五十匁日（ごじゅうもんめび）差し出し、左の通り。

Item: A reply letter from Endō Gorōbei's office, the contents of which are as follows:
I am writing to inform you by separate paper. Our colleague Jibei is currently on guard duty (o-ban) with one prisoner (torimono) in his custody at present. I am writing to notify you of this matter. Respectfully submitted.
3rd month, 27th day Endō Gohei

The above matter has been reported and deliberated with Jūzō-dono, as it is a matter for the 5th-day official duties.
2nd day
Item: Today, four small certificates (ko-tegata) for [the transport of] rafts down to Tōtōmi Province (Enshū-kudashi ikada) were brought [here], and [the matter of] the profit seal/stamp (ri-ingyō) [is as follows — text damaged/illegible].
Item: Regarding the sake-label permit (age-sake-fuda) for Kamishima village — as the petition (three-by-three [i.e., multiple] requests) has been resolved, [I] have sent a letter via Kyūbei below, entrusting Teiroku-dono [to see] that the permit label is duly brought [to the village].
4th day
Item: Today, Matsudaya Rokurōemon came to request the loan of: one document (shōmon) for the [transport of] rafts down the river (ikada-kawakudashi) from the previous Tiger year; and one silver-receipt document (gin-tori shōmon) for 5,000 markers (kawashirube) for the downstream transport to Tōtōmi Province (Enshū-kudakawa) from the 3rd month of the Rabbit year. [He] has applied as a borrower (haishaku-nin).
