一、上麻苧（じょうあさお）四十匁
一、綱写（つなうつし）百匁
右の通り、御次（おつぎ）調べ廻り縄ならびに仕付け万（よろず）御用、その外いうけ七つ、請け御入用（おいりよう）受け取り申したく御座候。以上。

一、杉嶋村の願い相済み、願い置き条左衛門殿へお返しなされ候。

一、御簗（おやな）川坂御茶屋下、前々（まえまえ）の見分（けんぶん）の通り宜しく御座候。以上。
名代（なだい）御薪、川の方より（砂が）割り（入り）、此の間の水にて砂押し上げられ候えども、割り御入用の事これあるべく御座候事、申し上げ候。

As described above, we wish to receive payment for the various uses of the inspection ropes [megurinawo] and related fittings, along with seven [units of] "iuke," and for all associated expenses. The above is submitted.

One item: The petition from Sugishima Village has been resolved, and it has been returned to Jōzaemon-dono, who had lodged it on behalf of the villagers.

One item: Regarding the area below the teahouse on the slope by the weir [o-yana] river — it is in order, as per the previous inspection. The above is noted.
As for the firewood allocated for the proxy [nadai], the side facing the river has been split [or: sand has encroached from the river side]; although the recent high waters have pushed sand up [onto the area], there will likely be a need for further splitting [of firewood / clearance work], and this is hereby reported.

One item: A circular notice [kaijō] arrived from the junior attendant inspectors [o-ko-shō metsuke-shū]. Regarding the Young Lord's petition in Edo, it was announced on the aforementioned date [that the matter had been granted] as requested. [He has] been performing the customary seasonal greetings [o-setsu-muki o-rei] in due succession — this is reported.
