「明後（みょうごにち）十五日、芦沢（あしざわ）・下川平（しもかわだいら）にて（御用）有之候。先格（せんかく）の通り心得られ、御自分、先立って御場所へ罷り越され、諸手（しょて）の世話を致され候様に存じ候。先年、田村六右衛門が相勤め候節の格（かく）に候間、御聞き合わせ有るべく存じ候。以上。

Firewood — 164 *ken* [units of measure] — Katsuma Riverbed
Same — 246 *ken* — Benzaiten Riverbed
The above figures were inspected and confirmed as recorded.
One item: From the 5th day onward, [I] have been going out daily for duties related to the fish weir [o-yana].

A letter was received from Lord Jōzaemon, as follows:
"On the 15th, the day after tomorrow, there are [official] matters at Ashizawa and Shimokawadaira. Please take note in accordance with past precedent [sen-kaku], and proceed yourself to the location ahead of time to attend to the coordination of all parties [shote]. This follows the precedent established when Tamura Rokuemon performed this duty in previous years, so please make inquiries [regarding that practice]. Respectfully submitted.
