御簗（おやな）普請（ふしん）の指出（さしだし）を提出するよう■■より仰せ付けられ候につき、これにより指出置き候（内容は）下記の通り。

一、御網打（おあみうち）の義、徳平・半右衛門（が）殿様御屋敷にて御■所まで罷り越され、御場より（網を）御下し候様に申し付け候。

「明日、御川干（おかわほし）への御出での義、今日通りの天気にて久■（しばらく）遊ばし、御出で候（こと）騒がしく申さず候得共、御見合わせも有之（これあり）、この段■■殿（へ）置き候。かくの如く（ご連絡）入れ候。

[We] were instructed by ■■ to submit a written report [sashidashi] regarding the construction/repair [fushin] of the fish weir [o-yana]; accordingly, the report submitted is as follows:
Memorandum [Oboë]
O-chūgen (attendants/laborers) — 3 persons
Of which: 1 person — Borrowed worker [o-kashi-bito]
2 persons — Contract workers [uke-tsukuri], 2 persons
The above [personnel] are to be received from the ■■ magistrate [bugyō] for use in the river-draining operation [o-kawahoshi] on the 18th of the last [month/period]. Respectfully submitted.

One item: Regarding the net-casting [o-ami-uchi], [I] instructed Tokuhei and Han'emon to proceed to the Lord's residence as far as the ■ [designated] location, and [to cast/lower the net] from the [fishing] site as directed.

One item: A letter was received from Lord Jōzaemon, as follows:
"Regarding [your] attendance tomorrow at the river-draining [o-kawahoshi], the weather today is [expected to continue] fine; [you may] proceed at leisure [without haste]. Although there is no great commotion [in the preparations], there is also reason to hold off and observe the situation. This matter [has been] conveyed to ■■-dono accordingly. I send word as such.
