Kyūemon [Seal]
One item: Kyūbei has completed his duties at the fish weir [o-yana] and rested for two or three days; as of today he has reported for duty again. However, it has been learned that there is craftwork [o-saiku] required by the armory/weapons office [o-bugukata], and accordingly [Kyūbei] has been sent over after making inquiries with Lord Tanzō. It has been communicated that even while [Kyūbei] is engaged [there], at times such as river [operations] ■ or other construction and repair work [tsukikarae], he is to be called back to this office.

One item: [We] were summoned from the castle [o-shiro], and accordingly proceeded there [at once].
