（久兵衛を）呼び寄せ、非持村（ひもちむら）下の御川干（かわぼし）の場所につき、久兵衛様へ（申し付け申し候）御■■につき申し候。
十四日
一、御用候。今年松茸御用、壱人役につき相勤め申し候由、御届け致し、同役■■■■年番に相勤め申し候得共、壱人役に■■■につき御座候。以上。
一、溝口村・板山村へ松茸御用の手紙差し出し候。
手紙をもって申し入れ候。然は其の村の松茸、段々時節にも相成り候（間）、松茸山の村番人等、例年の差し置きのとおり、随分（ずいぶん）断（おこた）り無く吟味致し、壱本（いっぽん）成りとも見え次第、早立ち（はやたち）にて紙注進（かみちゅうしん）候。右によりて申し合わせ候べく候（と）■■。

One item: Regarding official duties [go-yō]. Concerning this year's matsutake mushroom official duties [matsutake go-yō]: it is hereby reported that [the official] has been serving in a single-person capacity [ichinin-yaku]; although [he] has been serving in rotation [nenban] with the same office [dōyaku — names illegible], [the situation] is such that [it remains] a single-person assignment. Respectfully submitted.
One item: Letters regarding matsutake mushroom official duties [matsutake go-yō] were dispatched to Mizoguchi Village and Itayama Village.
[Content of the letter:]
This letter is to inform you of the following. As the season for matsutake mushrooms in your village is gradually drawing near, the village guards [ban'nin] assigned to the matsutake mountain — in accordance with the customary arrangements of previous years — are to carry out their inspections diligently and without lapse; and upon spotting even a single mushroom, they are to promptly dispatch a written report [kami-chūshin]. Please make the necessary arrangements accordingly. ■■.
