奥書・印形を取り付けるべき旨を伺い申し上げたところ、同役（同じ役職の者）より再度ご指示をいただいた。
また、以下のように取り計らうよう、十蔵殿よりご沙汰がございました。
**五日**
一、右の材木を検知（検分・調査）するために出向いた際、昨年中に幸作が参った折に改めた様子を申し上げた。さらに当時の御仕入れと同様の検知の仕方について、種々申し出があった。松田屋についても御仕入れと同様のことではあるが、弁才天川原成の仕入れ分の検知について、何寸角から何角まで、何種類何本あるか、現在の本数だけを改めて書き上げて申すべきこと。この件は伺い置き、追って沙汰があるとのことである。
**七日**
一、諸札（各種の証札・引換札）の残分があり、差分（差配分）を大工頭の新助へ届け、受け取ってもらった。なお、御中間（おちゅうげん）一人が受け取り申した。御請取物を渡した。
一、八日より例のとおり諸札の引替えを行い、久兵衛・大工・御中間一人が担当し、八つ時（午後二時頃）に仕舞いとして渡した。下役・御中間には昼食を受け取って渡し申し、大工には八つ時仕舞いに昼食を（支給した）■（一字判読不能）。
**十日**
一、御用のため、朝五つ時過ぎ（午前九時頃）に十蔵殿より、この間の麻苧布（あさおぬの）の運上（上納金）の高のうち、五貫ほどもお許し（御用捨）になるとのお見込みを申し置かれた。追って沙汰があるとのことである。
**十二日**
一、諸札の引替えが今日までに相済み、大工は十三日に休み、十四日より御普請方（建築・土木担当部署）へ差し戻した。
一、十四日、御用日に差し出す書付は以下のとおり。

We had inquired about affixing the endorsement (okugaki) and official seals, and were re-instructed by a colleague of the same rank. Additionally, Lord Jūzō issued the following instructions:
**5th Day**
Item: When we went out to inspect (kenchi) the aforementioned lumber, we reported the details of the inspection that Kōsaku had carried out during his visit last year. Further, various reports were made concerning the method of inspection, which is the same as for the current domain purchases. Although the matter of Matsudaya is also the same as for domain purchases, regarding the inspection of purchases from Benzaiten-kawara, we are to record and report only the current number of pieces — how many sun-kaku (square-cun) through what size, what types, and how many pieces. This matter has been noted for inquiry, and further instructions will follow.
**7th Day**
Item: There were remaining miscellaneous certificates (shofuda), and the surplus was delivered to Shinsuke, the head carpenter (daiku-gashira), who accepted them. An attendant (ochūgen) received them on his behalf. The received items were handed over.
Item: From the 8th day onward, the exchange of miscellaneous certificates proceeded as usual. Kyūbei, a carpenter, and one attendant were in charge, completing the work by the 8th hour (approximately 2 p.m.). The lower-ranked attendants were provided with a midday meal upon receipt, and the carpenters were given a midday meal upon completion at the 8th hour ■ (one character illegible).
**10th Day**
Item: For official business, after the 5th hour in the morning (approximately 9 a.m.), Lord Jūzō indicated that approximately 5 kan of the total levy (un'jō) on hemp fiber cloth (asa-o-nuno) from this period might be remitted (goyōsha). Further instructions will follow.
**12th Day**
Item: The exchange of miscellaneous certificates was completed by today. The carpenters rested on the 13th and were returned to the construction office (go-fushin-kata) from the 14th.
