一、当町の紺屋・安左衛門太夫より、藍瓶一つ■（一字判読不能）で掛け願いを差し出し、来春より瓶を増やす願いを申し出るとのことにつき、当春より瓶二つにしたい旨の御願いを、平兵衛への書状として作成し、今日差し出した。
同日
一、赤羽村の紺屋が病死につき、元の年数に合わせたいとの願い■（一字判読不能）、また今日差し出し申した。
一、十蔵より御手紙、以下のとおり。
先に判（印）をいただいた旨をお聞かせいただいた。赤羽村の久四郎が紺屋を引き継ぐ（相向かう）こと。

Accordingly, a written petition was composed as a letter to Heibei requesting permission to operate two vats from this spring, and was submitted today.

Item: Due to the death from illness of the dyer in Akabane Village, a petition was submitted — to resume operations from the original year ■ (one character illegible) — and this too was submitted today.
Item: A letter from Jūzō reads as follows:
It was conveyed that the seal (han) had been obtained in advance. Kyūshirō of Akabane Village is to take over the dyeing business (kōya).
