目立様内證ニ而商可申事

現代語訳
一 大工・鍛冶をはじめとするすべての職人たちは、相応の小細工のみを家業として、明日四日より静かに仕事をすること
一 町中の店の下蔀（したじとみ）を明け、張り出し等を出して、明日四日より平常通り商売をすること。ただし、この度のことについては声高にならないよう、すべてのことを慎むこと
ただし、魚鳥その他については当分の間目立たないよう内密にして商売すること
右の通り町中へ触れ渡すこと 以上
九月三日
花山院前右府薨去につき、今日より三日間鳴物停止とする。ただし遠方の者については、承知した日より書面の通りとする
ただし鳴物停止中ではあるが、右の通り心得ること
英語訳
1. All craftsmen including carpenters and blacksmiths shall conduct only appropriate small-scale work as their trade, and work quietly from tomorrow, the 4th day.
1. Shops in the town shall open their lower shutters (shitajitomi) and put out their displays, conducting business as usual from tomorrow, the 4th day. However, regarding this recent matter, all should exercise restraint and avoid being too conspicuous.
Note: Fish, fowl, and other such goods should be sold discreetly and inconspicuously for the time being.
The above shall be announced throughout the town. That is all.
September 3rd
Due to the death of Former Right Minister Kazanin, musical instruments and festivities are prohibited for three days starting today. However, for those in distant areas, this shall apply from the day they receive notice.
Note: Although this is during the period of prohibition of music and festivities, the above guidelines should be observed.
