御目見（おめみえ）を仰せ付けられ、平日において丁代並（ちょうだいなみ）に一刀（いっとう）を帯びることを差し免じられた。なお、引き続き励むべし、貴人。
五月十日
右は去る（見せ消ち：廿五日）七日、山下源左衛門殿より十日に鳴り出し（公示）のお沙汰がございましたので、この段申し遣わし候。しかれば、十日奥御舟紙（おくごふねがみ）にて右の通り仰せ渡され候。

Regarding the above: on the 7th day (correction visible: originally written as the 25th) of last month, an official notification was issued from Yamashita Genzaemon-dono, to take effect from the 10th day. As this matter has been communicated [to us], and accordingly, on the 10th day, the above was formally conveyed via official document paper (oku-gofune-gami).
