この度、京都において仰せ出され候趣もこれあり、深く御沙汰（ご配慮）あそばされ候につき、この節柄の義、万事相慎み、追って沙汰に及び候までは、旧来の通り（旧物のまま）仰せ出され候間、出候（出仕・行動）の儀、別而（格別）入念に申すべく候。
右の趣、町中に相触れ候旨。

As there have been pronouncements issued from Kyoto on this occasion, and as [the authorities] are giving the matter their deepest consideration, all affairs are to be conducted with great caution during this time. Until further notice is given, things shall remain as they have been (i.e., following the old ways/prior arrangements) as has been ordered. Accordingly, all conduct and movements shall be carried out with particular and careful attention.
The foregoing is hereby circulated throughout the town.
