　大小套枕中蔵数具客至則人授一枕

大小の組み合わせ枕で、中に数具を収納しており、客が来ると一人につき一つの枕を与える。

茶碗《割書：茶托　茶帚》

茶碗は黄色で《割書：白地のものはない》、青緑色の花草文様を描いている。土噶喇産のもので、その質はやや粗い。花文様がなく氷紋だけを作ったものは大島産である。

茶碗の上に小さな木製の蓋を作り、朱と黒で漆を塗る。下に中空の托子を作り、製作は非常に精巧である。茶碗はかなり大きいが、茶を注ぐのは二三分目のみで、果物の小片一つを匙の中に入れる。これは中国の献茶法を学んだものである。もし国内の烹茶法では、茶末に細かい粉を少し混ぜて碗に入れ、沸騰した湯を半碗注ぎ、小さな竹の茶筅で数十回かき混ぜ、泡を立てて碗の表面を満たすまでにする。これで客をもてなすのである。

Tea Bowls [Margin note: Tea Stands, Tea Whisks]

The tea bowls are yellow in color [margin note: there are no white-ground ones] with blue-green floral patterns painted on them. They come from Tokara, and their quality is somewhat coarse. Those without flower patterns but only with ice-crack designs come from Oshima.

A small wooden lid is made for the top of the tea bowl, lacquered in vermillion and black. Below, a hollow stand is made, and the craftsmanship is quite skillful. The tea bowls are quite large, but tea is poured only to two or three-tenths full, with a small piece of fruit placed inside the spoon. This follows the Chinese tea-offering method. As for the domestic tea-brewing method, tea powder is mixed with a small amount of fine powder and placed in the bowl, half a bowl of boiling water is added, and it is stirred dozens of times with a small bamboo whisk until foam rises to fill the bowl's surface. This is how guests are entertained.
