翻刻

　団扇以竹為骨繭紙糊之或青或白灑金作画有泥
　金五華者名玉団扇惟王宮中有之命婦或受賜始
　得用之

　斧鑿皆類中国惟鋸用純鉄為之形如刀下着柄列
　歯口端為用

現代語訳

団扇は竹を骨とし、繭紙を貼る。青いものや白いものがあり、金を撒いて絵を描く。泥金五華のあるものを玉団扇と名付け、王宮中にのみある。命婦が賜物として受けて初めて使用することができる。

匠具

斧や鑿は皆中国のものに類似している。ただし鋸は純鉄で作られ、形は刀のようで、下に柄を付け、歯を並べて刃先として使用する。

英語訳

Round fans use bamboo as the frame and are covered with cocoon paper. Some are blue and some are white, with gold sprinkled on them and paintings made. Those with mud gold and five-flower designs are called jade round fans, which exist only in the royal palace. Only court ladies who receive them as gifts are permitted to use them.

Craftsmen's Tools

Axes and chisels are all similar to those of China. However, saws are made of pure iron, shaped like swords with handles attached below, and teeth arranged to form the cutting edge.
