現代語訳

陶器

瓶や甕は多くが中国のものに類似している。その小さな違いは茶具と火炉の一、二種類である。これらを図示する。

釜

炊事用の鍋類はすべて鉄製のものがある。製法もかなり中国とは異なり、柄や取っ手が付いているものもある。処夏使の旧記録には「多くは螺貝の殻で炊事をする」とあるが、今はそうではない。時折、大きな螺貝の殻で茶を煮るものがある。

Pottery

Most bottles and jars are similar to those of China. The small differences are found in one or two types of tea utensils and braziers, which are illustrated here.

Cauldrons

All cooking pots and vessels have iron versions. Their manufacturing also differs considerably from China, with some having handles or grips attached. The old records of the Shoka mission state that "most cooking is done using conch shells," but this is no longer the case today. Occasionally, there are those who brew tea using large conch shells.
